One of my Facebook friends posted a Which Character on Little House on the Prairie Would You Be quiz. I took the quiz and I got Miss. Beadle, the teacher. I had to laugh at that because this past May my husband, daughter, and I visited Discovery Park of America in Union City, TN. They had a Frontier Village set up like a small town. It had a Little House on the Prairie vibe to it and was so interesting. There was a general store, a doctor’s office, blacksmith shop, a grist mill, and houses. All of these buildings were fully furnished with period furniture and props. There was a schoolhouse, too. I took one step into the schoolhouse and although the windows were open it was hot as blue blazes in there.
